Treatment information
Chlamydia is treated with a short antibiotic course, prescribed after assessment when you have a positive test result or a partner has been diagnosed. Your prescriber will explain partner treatment, when to retest and how to avoid passing it on. If you have not been tested, we will tell you how to get a test first.
Prescription treatment is only supplied following a clinical assessment. If treatment is not clinically appropriate, you will not be charged for medication.
