Benylin Children's Chesty Coughs is a cough syrup formulated to relieve chesty (productive) coughs in children aged 6 years and over. It contains the active ingredient guaifenesin, an expectorant that helps thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to cough up and clear from the airways

- Ingredients: Each 5 ml of Benylin Children's Chesty Coughs contains 50 mg of guaifenesin. Other ingredients include sorbitol liquid (non-crystallising), sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate, carmellose sodium, and benzyl alcohol.
- Special Instructions: The recommended dosage for children aged 6 to 12 years is 10 ml (two 5 ml spoonfuls) up to four times daily. Do not use in children under 6 years of age. Do not exceed the stated dose, and do not use for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice.
